Friday's Blooms

I will agree with Mantis, the sun is making it difficult to take photos. I live in the Southern Tier of NY and they say that we don't get as much sun as most of the country. I beg to differ. It is near impossible to get good pictures without getting into some yoga poses. I manage to get pictures of my shoes in some of these. I am out there in my dress pants shirt and tie, trying to avoid getting pollen on my clothes while taking pictures. I am sure it is quite a sight.

PALACE GARDEN BEAUTY: Has decent branching. Blooms for a long time.

Star of India: Usually darker, but the warm nights appear to be affecting it.

SKYHOOKS: The warm nights have washed this one out. It is usually more lavender pink than this.

THESE FOOLISH THINGS: Taken at 5:30 pm. I like this one from Mr. Bennett. This is a newer addition to the garden.

SHOWTIME MAGIC: Another Bennett intro. This one tends to rebloom.

FINDER'S DELIGHT: Another Bennett intro

JELLYFISH JEALOUSY: Blooming earlier than expected. It is usually more mid to mid late.

POLAR FIZZ: Another Bennett

EXOTIC STARFISH

WOODSIDE ROMANCE: I remember seeing this one at Mr. Apps' place in NJ and fell in love with it, but it was too expensive for a newbie. Obviously, I did get it. It is a lovely shade of pink. The warm overnight temps has it performing like a bitone. When it is not so warm, the entire flower is the color of the petals.
