It will depend on how busy the interior designer is but that seems to be a bit long for a final quote. Have you followed up with them for the status of the quote?

It is something we cannot help with , since there is no mention of any feed back from the designer. I have sometimes taken on a small job in the midst of bigger ones and found that small one gets lost in the mix and if that client calls me to ask it gets me back on track. I try not to take those small ones when I am really busy to avoid this

Calling might be helpful and you can ask if any renditions were started, plus their foreseeable timeframe.

Designer do run into this .........especially within a schedule with large projects.

Most important? Have you parted with any money? A retainer......$$ You paid anything /something/nothing for the initial design concept?

That info, for us, informs quite a lot and IF no money involved also suggests no contract and a VERY newbie designer...........................

Most of us, having taken any design retainer any amount of money.......try to get MOVING or we should not have deposited check. ( s) Dollars DO equal commitment, as do contracts. for both parties involved.
