Thursday's blooms 7/9/26

I am travelling this weekend to MD. I will be visiting a friend's garden tomorrow morning. On my way back home, I am going to stop by another club member's garden in Gettysburg, where he grows 3,000 daylilies. This coming Wednesday, I am traveling to Brent Ross' Cottage Gardens to pick up an auction win and to drop off a plant to him for one of his customers. By the time August rolls around, I might be daylilied out. I am certainly going to test myself. LOL

Here were the recent highlights:

LAVENDER BLUE PLANET

HEROES IN BLUE

BEST IN SHOW BETSY: Love the magenta surrounding the "blue" eye.

FRIEDA ALLEN JERRELL: Had to post a near blemish-free bloom

FREAKY PEOPLE

WHITE TOOTH x COSMIC SHINER seedlings

I like the one on the left in the second picture. These were first ever blooms on these two year old seedlings.

THUNDERBIRD DANCER with the best pattern of the season.

I love the first three "blue" ones and Thunderbird Dancer. How's the increase on TD? I'd really like to add that one at some point. Sounds like you will be seeing lots of daylilies on your trips. Have fun and be sure to take lots of good pictures!

HEROES IN BLUE would definitely be my pick. I like to add in soft colors in with the bolder in your face colors. Nice grouping of blooms.

I like Heroes in Blue-such a soft look. Best in Show Betsy is a nice one-good photo. Frieda Allen Jerrell is always pretty. Stay cool on your journey! Sounds like fun.

What a lot of lovely blooms, David. I like Best In Show, and the delicate and lovely Heroes In Blue. My favorite seedling is White ToothX Cosmic Shiner one.
