I always like your Summer Snowball, so a few years ago I bought one. Didn't do very well, but as it was new I didn't hold that against it. Unfortunately it didn't like my pot system and gave up the ghost the first winter. So I will enjoy yours now.......I'm a fan of ZuZu's treasure for those in cooler climates. Sherry's always impresses me. I know you have high standards for your daylilies, but the face alone is a winner...........Your White Tooth seedling has a good color and pattern..................Maryl

Summer Snowball and Diviner's Desire are both are really interesting! My WEPD is only doing fair this year, and has not really been as good as I've seen in other's gardens. Yours looks good.

I agree-Summer Snowball looks great. I need to move mine (how many times do we say this?!!) as it is being swallowed by a tree. Sensational Heart is such a bright one-I need more in this color line. I really like the I Remember You seedling as there are so many things going on with that bloom.

I hope the height improves on your daylilies. My daylilies usually pout the firstyear after a move…..wonder if the move is affecting yours. your blooms looks good to me. The bud counts I hear about in warmer climates always astonished me. Counts are always lower here.

You did a great job capturing Kingdom Bound, which can be difficult to photograph. Does Diviner's Desire open more fully later?

Mantis - Thanks for the compliment on the Kingdom Bound photo! Diviner's Desire opens flat most days. That picture was taken on a cloudy, overcast day after cooler overnight temps. Here's another photo of it:

Sherry - Most of my daylilies are as tall or taller than they are supposed to be this year, while last year - the first year after the move - almost everything was short. I mispoke about the bud count on Zuzu's Treasure. While most of the scapes have lower bud counts than the 14 I always got in Nashville, one scape does have 17 buds, which matches the most it ever had in Nashville. I'm not sure why the flowers are so much smaller this year.

Kate - Summer Snowball really does well here with taller scapes and higher bud count than registered. I'm glad you like the I Remember You seedling. It tends to be splotchy here, while it wasn't in Nashville.

Maryl - Too bad Summer Snowball didn't like your pot system. I'm lucky that it likes the climate here. Thanks for the comment on the White Tooth seedling. It's the least toothy of the White Tooth seedlings, but I like its clean, clear color, good bud count most years, and propensity to rebloom both here and Nashville.

I like all of them but the ones that catch my eye is Kingdom Bound and Sensational Heart . I grew High Water Mark and some times it showed deep colors and other times lighter tones but it was tall and well branched.

Julia - You had a much better experience with High Water Mark than I did. It was always short for me in Nashville. It's taller here, but nowhere close to its registered 39 inches. It's not even 29 inches this season.
