After being given the OXO cherry pitter by DD (who knows I have tried them all and still not found a good one) the OCO works so well I am tempted to give it to everybody this Chris— uh, you know, the cold holiday 😎

It’s a far cry from a lovely monogrammed pillow but does it ever work!

I just placed my advance order of fresh wreaths to be dropshipped to various people during the last week of November. I started this tradition a decade ago as a way to share Christmas good wishes with my aunts and various friends. I know it may seem uncreative to some, but all the recipients like it and look forward to receiving them. After the holidays, it can go right into the green waste container so no need to store another (maybe) unusable gift.

I like the pillow, @rubyclaire and a cherry pitter that works well sounds like a great gift, @Kswl. One of my aunts still talks about and uses a tool I gave her that helps open tab top cans.

I'm a terrible gift giver! Recently though I've started following influencers whose style reminds me of certain friends, but isn't usually similar to my own. When it's time to buy a gift I go to their LTK and can usually find something that works that I would have never thought of. Or knew about. My friends are usually much more up on trends than I am. So far, so good.

I'm also a terrible gift giver. I'm just not creative. And gift giving was never a thing in my family growing up, so I had no practice. Case in point - my DD's 40th birthday is Sunday. We will be together in Cape Cod for our annual week. I have no gift right now. And she's not giving me any ideas. Her only response when I ask is a week in Cape Cod.
