A couple of seasons ago, June was hot and dry, but in July the temperatures moderated and the rains returned. We made tons of seeds with the late bloomers. Now we are seeing the rewards of our labors. The bed is not in full bloom and the flowers are dazzling.

I hate to take photos of daylilies with my hand in the picture, but the rows are so narrow with the huge plants, I can't easily get down them. So Bob picks the flowers for me.

This is a nice example of an edge no eye daylily. We don't see many of them in our seedling beds. The pod parent is Bucky Beaver, but I forget the pod parent.

I love this large pink on a robust plant. It is Gay Activist X Shards of Narsil.

This nice flower is Last Man Standing X Pastor Z.

Nice group of late bloomers! Pastor Z and Raggedy Man are the ones I like best. How nice to have a bed full of late blooming seedlings! The Bucky Beaver seedling looks good - nice color and edge!

That seedling bed boggles my mind. I can’t imagine keeping track of that. With a hand in the photo it gives you a good idea of the flower size.

Yes, the seedlings are impressive.I appreciate your efforts to display them. Apache War Dance is really intense this year. I am sure the coming heat will change that.
