Hi, silly question, but trying to figure out a good place for a shower cubby.

Option A below allows a larger window, but…two concerns:

1. Is it a design faux pas to have to reach over the 14” deep bench to get to things?

2. Is it also not good to have to navigate to the very back of the shower every time you need to grab soap or shampoo?

Option B solves for both issues and things are easily at hand, but as shown, window will need to shrink a bit and I'll lose some natural light.

(*Bench can be moved, but this feels like the best location for it...without going triangular, fold-down, or freestanding, none of which I like.)

Is Option A a bad idea? Any better suggestions? Thanks so much for your thoughts.
