I happened to visit Cottage Gardens and Brent Ross last Wednesday and it just happened to be an overcast day due to the smoke from Canada. I did not smell any smoke, but it was certainly in front of the sun and did some funky stuff with the yellow and orange blooms. The other colors were fine. I came home with 8 new additions to the garden: CHRISTOPHER HITCHENS (won off the LA), THE GOLDILOCKS EFFECT, COTTAGE ON THE LAKE, BLUEGRASS GOSPEL (thanks to Paul Lewis' videos), GREEN VOLCANO (another thanks to Paul Lewis' videos), HEAVENLY DRAGON FIRE (may have been more glowing due to the smoke impacting the lighting for the day. Also needed to branch out a bit from my usual red, purple and lavender purchases.), SUFFERIN' SUCCOTASH and REDDICULOUS.

I took 50+ pictures. I don't know if I will post them all.

CHRISTMAS SCORPION - This one jumped out at me. The striking green throat in contrast to the bright red petals was amazing. The petals are more red than in this picture.

SPACECOAST ALL SEEING EYE - I have this growing in my garden. Mine arrived in the spring and did not bloom this year.

NAILED IT - I tend to like the subtle broken patterns.
