Have fun redesigning my kitchen!

last month

Help me redesign my kitchen please! 😊 It came to us very millennial gray vibes and it needs more warmth! I love boho cozy cottage with a tiny touch of mid century - I’m not afraid of color and I love cheerful bright and airy vibes! Have fun! Love visuals so if you have AI visuals that’d be awesome! Thanks all! Can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with! 💖 I have ideas like celery salt as the cabinet color but I don’t know!

Is this is full gut job or by redesign do you mean just cosmetics? You need to post more pictures of the room. We need to the dining area where the ceiling light is and what is the area where the trash is? Add a floor plan with all the dimensions. Include the windows and doorways. One thing I would do is straighten the island.

Mix and match painted that's a choice. hahaha I can see a green being beautiful, some of what you are calling gray (I think) is reading green on my screen. To be of the best help along with that drawing please post pictures from all angles. Interesting tiny island with seating no less...

i would leave the perimeter alone..I like it and helping budget in that way would interest me. To me the island needs to be bigger based on the overall size of your space,.... not any dislike of the small green one but you can do so much more w your floorspace.. that would be the direction I'd go.

here's a wood island w the greige perimeter....2nd [blue] if you want color./ hale navy is used often also. are you up for an island re-do? could be great.

The size of the island bothers me less than the angle so the first thing i would do is see if the floor continues under it and if so I would reposition it.

    What is your budget?

What is the scope of the renovation? Are you keeping the layout? The cabinets? Or are you just looking for cosmetic updates?

Your flooring is beautiful, so I would not change anything about it.

A blue would play well with the backsplash and marble

Open to ideas! Budget is variable! Island is currently SW Rosemary - back door SW Herbal Wash - the backsplash is a varied gray subway tile with black grout - the counter top is white quartz with black and some bronze streaks streaks - interesting about the island idea - angle and size! I wonder about the flooring underneath... also about changing the backsplash... thank you all for your creativity!

Nice space! i’d declutter, clearing the countertops, remove rug by the island etc - the room will seem bigger and fresher, and best of all it’s free :)

First BOHO and MCM are opposite ends of the stick except maybe colors. You are not redesigning the kitchen , painting is just painting. You have at least 2 styles of cabinets , a poor layout and IMO start by removing that really silly island . If you trulu want help with redesign we need a to scale floor plan.

There could be real design options. Not going to know until you post a scale floorplan.

"Open to ideas! Budget is variable!"

That doesn't really answer the question as to the scope of your project. Your answer could mean anything from just surface/cosmetic changes to a full-gut remodel with all new cabinets, counters, flooring, appliances, etc.

So, could you please clarify your project scope?

If more than surface/cosmetic, please see the Featured Answer of the "New to Kitchens? Read Me First!" thread. It discusses the information we need to help you.
