Back from the FSDS sale/auction

I am back from the sale/auction and came back with more than I wanted. No self-control when it comes to these plants. I came back with the following auction plants: RED BANDANA (Reimer - The price was too good to pass up $10 for a double fan), WRITTEN IN THE STARS (Simpson - not terribly expensive so I decided to give it a try), BURST INTO SONG (Emmerich), SEA SHANTY (Derrow - I grew for the club and wanted a piece back). Bag plants and the table plants (table plants are better plants that have been introduced within the past 5-8 years): TYRANNOSAURUS REX (still going for $95 single fan and I got it for $30), HARMONY IN BLUE (I like Story's intros), INDIAN GIVER (I lost mine in the move). The club president gave me a double fan of CLARK GABLE to try and see if it survives Zone 5. I traded for a double fan of CUSTOM PAINT JOB. I will confess that I have the following coming from LILY AUCTION wins: VICTORIA JOSEPHINE, MAGIC BULLET (saw it in two gardens and was impressed with the consistency), and MEAN GREEN (folks posted too many images of this plant over the years on this site).

David, you sure did buy a lot!! Sound like you had a great time. Do you have enough room for them all?

Lots of beauties here. I love the Desire of Nations seedlings, especially the one on the right.

DASHING YOUNG AQUANAUT is quite a beauty. You tend to have a lot of nice rounded flowers which is one of my favorite forms, of which I don't have many for some odd reason. TIGRILLO AFTERNOON is another nice rounded one.

It sounds like you picked up a lot of good ones at the sale/auction! I love the photo of Dashing Young Aquanaut! Great color! Nice seedlings from Desire of Nations!

Dashing seems to be blooming amid many others. Is it consistently above the foliage? I'm sure you will like Mean Green.

This is only it's second full season in the garden. So far it has been blooming above the foliage.

My goodness I'm exhausted just reading how much planting your going to have to do with your new incoming ones. I'm sure your weather is much cooler than here so that is a plus for you. I like your seedlings out of Desire Of Nation but prefer the color and form of the one on the right in your pic.

I actually don't have much digging to do, because I removed several varieties from the collection and promptly fill the empty spaces with the new additions.
