New LVP was installed at my home yesterday. I have shared with the company I am not pleased with the quarter round finish nor what’s going on at the doors and with my fireplace.

The quarter rounds look unprofessional with the raw material exposed. Their solution was to add caulking to the ends. The entry and garage door have the brown piece from the previous flooring showing above the quarter round. This morning I noticed the same thing at the patio door. The exception is the piece is white not brown.

I’ve done some research and it appears the quarter rounds are lacking returns. (I think that is the correct term) As for the doors, I just do not like the quarter rounds in front of them. Finally, the fireplace hearth. They tried to put a transition piece around it, but the marble is not on the concrete slab and it looked a mess! I plan to have to broken marble ends repaired, but what about the gap?

The company is supposed to discuss my concerns and get back to me today. I’m hoping I can get some input from this forum to aid in my decision and communication with them. Any ideas, suggestions, and comments would be appreciated!
