I have a south facing kitchen with a sliding door that has faded three different vinyl products. Two of them have been commercial products also. The doors were replaced with new low E glass 10 years ago and we have a sun shade over the doors in the summer. The doors head out to a deck and wooded backyard. I do have a roll up blind on the door but will not use it daily.

What products do you suggest? I do not believe I am willing to install ceramic tile in the area. It is a large eat-in kitchen, mud room, 1/2 bath and garage entry. To some degree, money is no object. I realize that I may need to just use a large rug in front of the glass to protect from fading. Only 3 feet in front of the door noticeably fades.
