I'd keep the print rug. From across the room it reads more like a soft blue-gray field than a busy pattern, and it connects the navy stools and pillows to the chair. The chair pattern is much bolder and a different scale, so they don't really compete. The cream rug makes the room brighter, but it also leaves the chair and dark accents floating a bit. If you choose the print, I'd keep the pillows simple and skip adding another small pattern nearby.

IMO a larger scale patterned rug would work better with the small scale pattern on the chair in the space. Additionally, I'd consider turning it on an angle to match the fireplace.

What I would NOT do is place the chest with the plant on an angle in the other corner. It looks to contrived for the space.

Don't do a busy rug underneath as it creates too much pattern mixing. Go whiter than the first rug (sectional white) and do chunky.

I’d choose the cream rug. The patterned rug is lovely on its own, but with the chair fabric it starts to feel a little busy. The cream gives the room some breathing room and lets the navy and patterned chair stand out more.
