We recently purchased a beach house, and while we've made a zillion changes in and out, I'm stuck when it comes to choosing colors for the shutters and front door. I'm attaching before and after photos so you can see where we started (I will particularly miss the gravel front yard...).

The roof and siding colors aren't my favorite, but with kids in college they need to stay for now. We've planted a few bushes, putting in some more plus perennials at the end of the month, and yes eventually there will be dormer windows to cut some of the miles of roofline, but for now the afore-mentioned tuition means that's on hold as well. So... color ideas for shutters and front door?
