This is the living room in my new-to-me carriage house apartment. I own the rug, the sofa, the light fixture and the art over the mantelpiece. I was playing around with the rug and sofa yesterday and decided I really love the rug and want a glass coffee table so it won’t be completely covered up. My style would be transitional with an English country leaning I guess. The house is in a horse community so feel like that works as far as the vibe goes. I have a couple of modernish sconces that will be in the adjacent open dining area. I like to mix in a bit of modern to keep things fresh, but also love a traditional nickel as well. The room and trim is getting painted BM Baby Fawn. So pic 1 is the space with some random furniture, rug is not in final position.
