Just thought you should know - I'm moving....

last month

....in my dreams! Don't touch a thing, I'm moving in as is. Haven't had time to really study the pics as I just keep flipping through and drooling. I'm sure there's something I would change. Maybe. Probably not. Hate to post this and run but I'm heading to a bbq. Talk amongst yourselves.

All I can say is sorry, D. You’re welcome to come visit!

Fine space to spend a vacation week, but I've lived in the UK and don't care for the weather. The low ceilings and slanted walls would also depress me after a few weeks.

Lovely home. I wish the address was available. I'd love to see in on GEarth.

Allison, I think we could do some awesome antique shopping in the area! We’ll go after tea.

(We’d be fighting over horse stuff.) :D

A real friend would post a link to the gardener for research purposes.

I wonder if the site with the link D posted shows traffic. They’ll wonder why all these clicks are coming in from Houzz USA. :D

From the outside photos, I suspected it was in the Cotswald area, and the map confirmed it. A beautiful property and cozy home, and apparently was once a B&B! I wonder if the owners decided to retire and sell?

eta, Thanks all for the laughs & entertainment today!

So whoever beat DLM to the punch, you must reopen it as a BnB for her. And for our next GTG! Does the gardener also serve cocktails?

I love the grounds and the upstairs! The downstairs looks almost claustrophobic. The gardener looks like a very fresh vegetable 😎

As long as *our* gardener also cooks, he can stay!

I've lived in old houses with barely 8' ceilings and a house with a soaring vaulted space and 9' everywhere else. The older I get and the shorter I get ;-) the less I feel the need for that kind of s-p-a-c-e. The house might feel claustrophobic to me but I don't think so. However that hunk of dead vegetation hanging above the stove would be the first thing to go! It's fun to dream and imagine being in the space.

I love the outside and the grounds but the ceilings are too low for me. I was feeling clautrophobic just looking at the pictures.

If the next GTG is there, forget what I said 'cause I'm coming!

I love how there's apparently always a "next GTG!"

Talk about palette discipline. Yup, it is one lovely home.

I am only 5ft 1 inch. The ceilings are not a problem!
