black apron front?

This is similar to our reno plan but our island is dark espresso with black granite. Our white cabinets will have a granite counter called artic cream, white, greys, tans, and chunks of black. I am considering black apron front sink, layout is similar to this . .and go with dark hardware. Will that black sink be too stark a contrast ? Thoughts?

I guess it depends on how many black specs are in the top. The more there are the more I like it. I've never seen an Espresso cabinet with an absolute black top. That might be a little funny depending on the lighting and the particular Espresso. With a lot of natural light the Espresso will look brown. And a brown island with a black top might look a little too much like a black jacket with brown pants, I'd possibly switch tops on the island and the perimeter or go all artic white.
