I love that idea but do you think it is small for that? i put the additional lights in to add some coziness into that large space at night!

I think table lamps on the table would be more attractive.

agree with @CAGE Design Build put the floor lamps in corners where you need more light and have no room for tables, etc.

A longer sofa table, even an enclosed storage the length of the sofa since you have so much decor to display.

I think you are missing an opportunity to create a more balanced/interesting look. The floor lamps are definitely throwing things off; suggest a lamp and edit/test different items. If interested, down the road consider a longer console with more height variation.

I would get a longer console and then do 1 table lamp or 2 matching table lamps.

Couple of things:

While sitting in the living room, most of the items behind the sofa will be invisible.

To me, the same items mess up the sightlines into the living room from the camera viewpoint.

Cord going across the floor does not look good and presents a trip hazard.

For coziness, maybe try for pools of light around the room's perimeter. Looks like you have a head start with the downward-aiming sconces on the window wall. Would also suggest turning ceiling lights down or off.

More ideas for low-level lighting

Adjustable fixture from Amazon hidden behind sofa. It's on a timer, set to turn on for a few hours in the evening.

This one has a couple of 15 watt bulbs/equivalents. Also on a timer. The lamp is from CB2, c. 2008. I think Amazon and West Elm have something similar.

I agree with the others commenters that the console table is too small for the sofa. I'd go with one that's almost the full length of the sofa and add a table lamp. If an outlet is an issue, there are some great rechargeable lamps that don't need a cord.
