After 6 years in a bathroom without a vent or window (city living) our bathroom needed some fresh paint and grout/caulk. The first two photos are the original reno. Unfortunately my contractor is no longer available. The second photo is the new job. It’s hard to tell from the photos but it looks less high end than before. From what I remember we didn’t have a white caulk there and the seem between the tub and floor was a little more seamless with matching the floor, but everything I read says not to use grout. Thoughts on what to say to the person coming in to redo it (if it was just this I might leave it alone but multiple things are getting fixed).
