Pats fan here. Congrats on the win, sephia. Not a great start to the season for us, but still a really interesting game to watch, and I’m excited for the rest of the season!! Being in 2 pools keeps it interesting even during our off years. Several years ago, I lived outside of the New England area, so got used to watching other teams as well.

Rams for us and they did not do well against the Niners Thursday in Australia.🥴

We mainly like 2 teams, Eagles and Commanders, they're playing against each other right now and just hoping it's a good close game in the end.

Bengals fan here. We had our opener at home and just about everyone in the stands wore orange!!! I love when they make that ask, sometimes for a pattern, and the fans deliver. We beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 33-27 in a very exciting game.

I hate football, but hold on. The rest of the family... husband, daughter, son-in-law, and grandson are the biggest Eagles fans that more than makes up for me.

The wheels fell off our bus early last year with a season-ending injury for our QB Patrick Mahomes. But, he’s expected to play tomorrow on Monday Night Football.

24-22 Eagles Win = Good Game!

Both of my teams won today - Eagles and that other PA team - Steelers!

My dream would be for them to meet in the SuperBowl. They play each other every 4 years - this year they meet on November 22 in Philly.

Okay...

#1 are the Chiefs, due to a longstanding crush on Mahomes.

#2 are the Seahawks and 49ers, due to Proximity to Oregon.

#3 teams that have former Ducks: Chargers for Justin Herbert, Broncos for Bo Nix.

#4 teams from cities where I can get the better taco. (Pizza in a pinch).

I admit to already biting my nails for tomorrows game.

While the rest of the family are diehard Eagles fans, the granddaughter who stayed in the Pittsburgh area after she attended university there is a rabid Steelers fan like her husband and kids.

I grew up in a home where my dad watched football but not to the point where he was prempting holidays. Same for DH but even with three brothers he never got the football bug. Biggest blessing of my life!! Well not really but I am THRILLED to not have to endure any sports.

Yay Eagles! Won a squeaker ove the Commanders, but a win is a win.

We are not big NFL fans - we don't plan our weekends around NFL games. Our kids love the Eagles, so we follow them casually. Today's game was fun to watch!

College football is where it's at in our house! We've been fans of the North Dakota State University Bison since we went to school there in the early 80s. This year they moved up from FCS to FBS, and last night they kicked Air Force's butt.

We did watch a few games today, and saw former Bison players on 3 teams: Carson Wentz is QB for the Vikings; Christian Watson is wide receiver for the Packers, and Bryce Lance is a WR for the Saints. There are currently 11 NDSU players in the NFL, so we tend to watch individual players more than specific teams.

Imagine my husband, a rabid Eagles and Phillies fan, having a son who never watches either. By tradition, because he once had the biggest TV, he hosts a Super Bowl party and sometimes doesn't know who's playing. However, he watches the Tour de France and cycling races, and he participates quite often, coming in first in his age group. However, my husband does have a daughter who loves the Eagles and particularly the Phillies. She met Mike Schmitt, Greg Luzinski, and Larry Bowa when they appeared at our local mall when she was in elementary school and got their autographs. She was an instant fan from that day till now.

To be honest I seldom watch sports but I find it a little satisfying if one of my home town teams win. DH doesn't watch any sports. He may tune in if we're in the Super Bowl or if the kids are visiting and a game is on.

Lily, I'm going to admit something that's sacreligious as a New Englander and Patriots' fan ... I can't stand Tom Brady.

I’m a generational Packer fan. In the 1920s my grandfather was a cheesemaker in Green Bay. In those days there were no locker rooms, so teams merely gathered in opposite end zones at halftime and fans were allowed in free then. After making cheese in the morning, my grandfather would show up at the half wearing a trenchcoat with a few flasks tucked in the pockets and give the players a snort to prep for the second half. As a Bears fans and Chicagoan, I do have do duck my head to say, I also like the Packers. When our younger one was about four or five, he declared himself a Packer fan, not sure where that came from. We used to joke ”where did we go wrong?” but I was also proud of him and we rooted together. But in our big matchups, well, who I’m rooting for depends, but I’m generally satisfied with the outcome no matter what.

I lived in Dallas for 15 years during the ”America’s Team” era and learned that I should hate the Eagles. I’m not sure why, I know it has to do with a game, but I honestly don’t care why so there is no need to explain it to me. I don’t hate them, just ambivalent. The Cowboys were pretty exciting to watch in those days.

Big Chiefs fan here of course. They have a tough week one against the donkeys tonight. I'm not a fan of night games and the Chiefs season starts with 2 of them at home and they have 4 more during the season. I prefer the 3:30 games (CT).

There will be a B-2 flyover at Arrowhead tonight and most times we get to see it flying around before the game just east of the city where I live about half way between Whiteman AFB and Arrowhead.

We have long been 49ers and Oakland Raiders fans. I guess I'll still root for the Raiders, even tho they've moved to Las Vegas. And we have our adopted team, the Eagles. But we also love college football. For many years we had season tickets to the Cal Golden Bears games. Now we like to watch college games on TV, maybe to spot upcoming talent. We watched Cal during the 2024 season when Fernando Mendoza played there (and graduated) before he went to Indiana and became famous.

littlebug - I had Chiefs season tickets from 1983 to 2000 but gave them up when we moved from 5 miles from the statdium out into the countryside 30 miles away. Tailgating at Arrowhead with a group of friends was always fun. They were showing on the news this morning that people were lined up to get into the parking lot since Sunday afternoon.

Sephia, I grew up in Gladwyne and I suspect someone else here may chime in to say she still lives there. Can't help but love the city and its teams.

I am an Eagles fan and a Phillies fan. My son (lived there until he was 13) and his best friend since the age of 1 are as well. I have a t-shirt: It's a Philly Thing. I think that was created because of the huge celebration by the fans after the Super Bowl (2018 against the Pats or 2025 against the Chiefs-I suspect the latter).

Lily, we are also die-hard Tour de France fans and watch every stage start to finish, then go into withdrawal even though we watch the two other Grand Tour races and all five Monuments races.

Go Chiefs!! I'm certainly not what anyone would consider a big football fan, but when I do watch, it's Chiefs all the way. Broncos had issues last evening, which made for a really fun game for Chiefs fans to watch. To me, Mahomes and Kelce both looked to be in good shape.

I can’t pretend to know much about football or be a fan of any one particular team, but I enjoy watching and have some clear preferences. I was happy to see Seattle beat the Patriots again, and with KC becoming a temporary home away from home I’ve got no problem watching the Chiefs. Though they’d be easier for me to watch without Mahomes incessantly gnawing on his mouthguard. That drives me nuts!

Food - hop on the Chiefs bandwagon...there's plenty of room!

I thought Mahomes looked rusty last night which is not surprising since he didn't play during the pre-season. Good thing K9 (Kenneth Walker) had such a great game running the ball.

My husband watches some of the NFL games if he happens to be at home. I’ll watch, too, as I’m his Yoko Ono. 😉

Tonight I’m watching the Buffalo/Detroit opener as the Bare Naked Ladies will be singing ”O Canada”.
