Is there a reason you didn't just go with a color from LP smartside? Can you not get custom colors? I am just curious why you painted it onsite? Thank you!

We have always painted our LP onsite for the reason we can choose whatever color we would like for an exterior look. Highmark has never had any issues with painting it onsite and we continue to have good luck with the outcome.

Is it the same price? We are starting to build and looking at an LP type of siding. I know there is the Hardie brand and Diamond Kote. I am not thrilled with the current Diamond Kote colors but I have heard they are cheaper. Thank you for your other response by the way!

To be honest, I'm not sure because of how much painting companies are. So what I would recommend is getting an estimate on having it done onsite and then one with pre-finished and then decide based on that information whether it is more cost effective for you to have it pre-finished with limited colors or having your home be totally a custom color that you choose.

What is the color of the roof?

The shingle selection I believe is Timberline Pewter Gray.

I am looking for a cape cod gray but the Pelican is not quite right……how much more is it to do a custom color??

If you would like our opinion we paint our LP siding on site after it is installed. We have never had any issues with not pre-finishing and you can choose any paint color you wish.

The upcharge for a custom Diamond Kote color is minimal. We can paint any color you desire. Please note their are some advantages to a factory finish. We can paint in any weather including today when its snowing. We offer a 30 year No Fade Warranty that includes a 7 year full labor component. You have a one stop shop, if there are any issues with either the siding or the coating, instead of having to track down different companies to help you with any claims. I just swtiched from SW slate tile to SW software because of these pictures. Can you share what the trim color is. I really appreciate the inspiration.

Christina, I'm not 100% sure on the trim color. However, I would recommend using Sherwin Williams Westhighland White. Now, that I think more about it I believe that is what the trim color is on this house. I think the Software the the Westhihgland white look stunning together. Is the floor plan for this home available?

I'm sorry but we can't give out the floor plans for this home as it is was custom designed and built. The homeowner worked directly with an architect and spent a lot of money to own these plans so we don't have the rights to give them out.

can you advise who the architect is? Its a beautiful home and I'd be interested in learning more about their firm.

Where can I get the Entry door? Is it wood?

This is a Simpson Door, please look into your local millwork company and see if you are able to get that manufacturer. Yes this is a wood door, this particular door is a Fir door.

Our Diamond Kote is chipping on the edges and around the nail holes so may be why the contractor primes and paints!

Buyer beware. I would never chose this product again. You get different answers depending on who you talk to at Wausau. To this day the contractor and reps cannot agree on how to repair all the overdriven nails and chips covering my entire home.
