You need to verify that your roof is framed to carry the additional weight of tile. The slope looks a bit short for proper installation of roof tiles. The membrane roof would still need to be what keeps it dry. I don't know what your side view is, but occasionally in old homes of this style, they only add a row of tile at the edge. I think that the shutters and window boxes make a big impact. Consider adding 2 shutters (closed) to the left on the blank space to look like a window with closed shutters to balance out the wall. Add some large decorative light fixtures at each side of the garage to bring the eye and focus down. I think that you can get a lot more impact spending the $$ on these items & some improved landscaping than the roof. Then new paint color looks good.

Love the tiles - definitely add character to your look. But to determine if the tiles will add value to your home, you need to evaluate what is going on in your neighborhood. Would someone buying into your neighborhood appreciate the upscale look and pay more for it?

We have Spanish tile on ours and weight is a issue. It will add character, but you may be able to add it by painting the trim and window background/stairs color the same. I think the color is a little pink (at least on my monitor). Maybe a gray or grayish blue? It would be cheaper and I think add just as much punch.

I agree with noiwh8 that the tile will add value for resale, as long as you are not spending a fortune reinforcing the roof.

Can you even see the roof from the street? If not it seems a waste of money.

I love the look of the tiles. They last forever. You might check on getting a discounted rate from your home insurance carrier for that type of roof also.
