We need help refining the layout for our kitchen remodel. We are expanding an existing galley kitchen/laundry room. My concern with the preliminary drawing is that the fridge is too far away from the rest of the work area. I am also looking for other thought/comments about what we have.

A few considerations:
1. I do not want the cooktop in the island as we have small kids
2. We have room to go bigger if need be, but I am not sure if that is the right thing to do
3.We need to maintain the entryways (but they can be moved....)
