How did you use the godmorgan vanity with non ikea counter and sinks? I'm looking to do the same thing.

Same way you would install a typical counter on a cabinet. The only thing special was the sinks had to be very small in depth as the Godmorgon vanities are thinner than typical vanities

Which sinks did you use? Thanks!

    Thank you! Quickest response ever!

Hi, could you tell me how the quality is on the Ikea vanities? This is the look I want and the price can't be beaten, its for my kids bathroom and I am nervous they will be hard on it. Thanks

The vanities have held up perfectly but they are being used by adults only. Sorry I can't really be of much help on how they hold up with kids as I don't have enough data to give you an informed answer.

I was curious if the top two drawers are still functional, or if the sinks amid drain pipes meant they could no longer be used? The IKEA sinks have very shallow plumbing, different from typical sinks and drain pipes.

Great question. The drawers are still functional, but the middle portion has a cut out to allow for the sink plumbing, leaving most of the storage to the sides of the drawer.

Lovely want to do something similar, custom top/sink on ikea vanity was it necessary to reinforce the vanity to carry the load of the bench top? or is the bench top being supported by additional wall supports?

It wasn't necessary to reinforce the vanities, but the extended top is supported by wall brackets

Would you be so kind as to take a photo of the inside of your top drawers? How did you finish them and how do you contain the storage to the sides of the drawers? Thanks!

I also have another question: How difficult was it to change the pulls?

Unfortunately we cannot take a photo of the inside of the drawers as we are only the designers of this project and this is a client's private residence

Thanks for your quick response! Did you do any 'finishing' work on the inside on the drawers? Are they U-shaped?

Yes and yes. They were modified with a U shape to be able to close around the plumbing

Can you tell me what size Godmorgon vanity cabinet you used? It looks very long, but the largest one I saw was 55". Did you put two of them together?

We used two, 2 drawer 40.5" Godmorgon's side by side

Oh, thank you for the quick reply! I have been searching for an answer to the question - can you put two side-by-side and how does it look? Answer: "yes," and "great!"

Looks like you switched out the cabinet pulls. Are the pulls standard sizes?

Yes those are the pulls that come with the vanities. They are standard sizes
