I voted sort clothes because I do that alone but I also help my husband to rake the leaves. I guess my husband wins on that one.

I must raise and rebuild my home due to hurricane Sandy. Since money is an object( to say the least) I need a Color to paint most of my interior. I have many paintings I saved which are thought the house. I need a Color that will not take away but have them stand out. I am 2 blocks from the ocean and will have new gray siding. Good for the seashore area.

I picked sort and store clothing. I love when the seasons change because it gives me an excuse to buy new clothes but, first I have to get rid of some items. I have a rule, for every new clothing purchase I have to give away two items. I hate clutter so this helps me declutter my closet. I live in Atlanta so, I'm still wearing summer clothes but, I will be changing over my closet in the next few weeks. Happy Shopping!

Lots to do, especially that we have nice, warm weather on the East Coast: scrubbing the outdoor furniture so that it's not a dirty gray anymore, but back to teak color; really clean the grill. We are also planning a big landscape project...designs are almost done...need to get contractors bids and then we'll see how much it will be:)

Thanks to the Houzz author "Design is in the Details". I decided to give it a try in my kitchen. Over time the appliances had been changed to stainless with black trim. I shopped online and found satin nickel & black pulls. Regular price was $11 to $14 each. I found
them with free shipping for about $2.80. It was like magic how this unusual hardware pulled the room together. Next step is to install the new satin nickel hinges and my new black and satin nickel faucet. Attention to details has made my nice old cabinets look sharp once again. Thanks for the inspiration Houzzers.

Putting the garden to bed for winter. lots of pots to dump, clean and store. Dig Cannas Elephant Ears and Dahlias, clean, dry, mark and store in the basement. Then 500 Tulips need to go in. I need to get started!
I'm going to tackle the main bathroom. I really dislike the builder grade mirror that's up. It covers the whole wall above the two sinks. It's glued up instead of hanging with clips which would be so much easier to take down. Going to hang two mirrors up in its place, repaint and redecorate. I have everything to start my project except the mirrors, still looking for just the right ones. Can't wait to get started!!!!

After adding fall decor inside and out, I'll reward my labors with s'mores at our firepit.

Get the huge laurel in the back yard taken down to size (about 2/3 shorter) so we can have sun in the back yard again! And trim/clean up all the iris & crocosmia & lilies of the valley.
