What type of paint and finish did you use on your counter top? Thanks!

Hi rturchetti. It was the Rust-oleum product for faux granite countertops. I just bought the gray base coat-think it was about $30.00- which I applied with a small foam roller. (You can buy a whole kit for about $200!) Then I got a few quarts of colors - black, brown, white, and silver, and sponged them on. I finished with about 8 coats of satin finish polyurethane. It's been almost 2 years since I did it, and it's holding up great! I do take care not to put anything hot on the countertop. I use cutting boards so I don't cut anything on the counter surface. It's SUCH an improvement on the ugly formica that I covered with this finish!
