I'd just "pretend" it's a normal shaped window and do floor to ceiling curtain panels. Easy peasy.

I wouldn't hide the woodwork or the arch. I'd use a simple spring rod and casement curtain, no ruffle, that I'd hang within the window frame about 7" below the arch, that stops at the sill. Your choice of fabric would depend upon your need for privacy and your style preference. I'd suggest four panels, split in the center so you can open them, or pull them open with high-placed, custom-made sculptured draw-backs, hooked to obscure little tacks no one would notice when not in use.

wood shutters are a option.They can get pricy when you are covering the arch. If you what to leave the arch open ?Their are a few blinds that would work too.
