My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Beautiful wood cabinets

Is the oak rift cut, quarter sewn, etc? I would like to try to duplicate the look but don't know what cut to ask for. Thanks.

    The cabinets were custom made and are actually veritcal grain Douglas Fir with a clear finish. I was surprised to learn that because they match the oak so nicely. The shelves are secured to the wall with dowels. I hope that helps you.

      You are asking about the oak on the floors? If so, you would need to contact the flooring company - Olde Tyme Floors in Sherman Oaks.

      Rift & Quartered White Oak is very pretty and also very stable. Its hard to see enough of the grain in the picture to say if this floor is flat sawn Vs. QS. We are doing a similar white oiled finish over White Oak. Here are some pictures.
