We recently opened up our galley kitchen. In doing so, we added an island which took some space from the dining room. This meant the dining room chandelier no longer centered over the table. We went with the lighting shown in the pictures just as a temporary fix but we now want something different, probably hanging, especially for the dining room...but of course may need to change them both out as it is more or less one room. Any ideas? Short of cutting into the ceiling?
