How do I design island range hood when I have a second floor over kitchen?

    Are you putting a range on an island? Typically, you put a cooktop on an island. Your appliance contact should be able to guide you through this.

    Have to replace range.We built the house 20yrs ago putting a Jenn-Air downdraft in the island. We replaced that with a thermador island range with down draft 13yrs ago. Now the range will not bake, so we are looking for a range to fit the space. Looks like we will have to put a range in the cabinet and just use top of thermador range.
