Need help with hardwood Stain

I need help determining a stain for my red oak #2 hardwood. Island is ebony. Kitchen perimeter cabinets are Timid White. Wall color is Tony Taupe. It will be next to some Kendale Slate easdale neutral tile. I am looking for deep brown like ebony but want it to be lighter because of it showing dust/dirt too much. House is deep brown look with gray undertones. Could I do like 30-50 of ebony?? I am stuck at this point. Dark walnut and Jacobean are to much of the goldish brown and do not look right with the other things mentioned above. THX!

The labeled name "Ebony" is a bit misleading in most of the stains on the market...
Most folks expect a BLACK/BROWN color whereas the oil based stains used for flooring are more of a dark "greenish" brown with a touch of black in the mix.
There may be some "conflict" between the reddish base color of your red oak material.

White oak may have been easier to work around considering your "taupe's & grays"... but that horse has apparently left the barn.
Hopefully, if you're leaning toward a darker color, you'll be having a GOOD professional do the finish work... They should be able to work a color scheme out.
