Glass/travertine/slate backsplash would really pop against the cabinets.

Beautiful. But the cabinets and drawers could use some complementary handles/pulls. They look a little bare. And you don't want oils and dirt from hands ruining them!

Nice. The cabts and the counters are nice choices. The pendants are more my style, too. Here is a backsplash idea for your consideration, which my pic doesn't reflect exactly, but I think would look good with your colors. Happy Houzzing.

Your kitchen makeover looks great. I feel that a backsplash and cabinet hardware will add great texture and pull the final touches all together. Very nice, enjoy your new kitchen.

I just redid our kitchen and it looks alot like yours. I am away or I would show you a picture of my backsplash. My tile man used a travertine tile in a neutral color to complement our granite countertop and cut it to like a large subway size tile. He carefully placed rough looking raised stones (like you would see around a fireplace) throughout with a touch of the cabinet color. They were 2-3 grouped together--each stone about the skinny size of a subway tile. The neutral travertine and darker stones married the granite and countertop for a really completed look. I used the pulls and drawers in the above button featured on the top right side.

I would add a backsplash as well. great work. Looks more contemporary.

Kitchen hardware..should compliment the interior.
