My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

      Hello. This is CMU (concrete block). There is a layer of firebrick at the base of the firebox. Thanks for the question and interest in the project.

      Was is mixed in with the concrete to make it shiny? Or was that applied on top of existing concrete?

      Hello and thank you for your question. The paint within the firebox is a heat resistant variety from Sherwin Williams.

      Is the concrete patio stained or colored when poured? What product did you use?

      The patio is poured with integrally colored concrete - color was selected from the available options from the concrete company.
