Need help for cramped condo kitchen built in 1960's

Attached I posted a rough layout of my kitchen. It's a whole other room in my condo because it was built so long ago. It also has an extra main entrance into the unit through the kitchen that I can't block (fire hazard). Also, the pantry (drawn) is all the outside of the kitchen in the hallway if you could imagine. The striped box is one of the support columns I guess what it's call. Cannot be removed. Family ordered me appliances before checking for measurements. I have a french door fridge, washing machine, range/microwave, and sink. (all about 2ft wide-2.5 stove,2.8 fridge) What different ideas do you guys have for this kitchen? I for sure want to tear down the walls to create an open area to the living room. I was thinking of putting a bar for more functionality but that cement column stumps me. I also thought about putting a nook where that pantry is and just put a smaller 6 or 8 (or even smaller) by 2 pantry inside the kitchen room. I also thought about putting the sink where the doorway is now BUT, where would I put the dishwasher without having a cramped walk way? Any ideas would be great!
