I hope they get off the pot and get your social security paperwork completed and get you a date in hospital in the first half of November. Morning soul sista, what's up? Lunch break? :)

Just got off the phone with my partner...he's bitching about not being able to find a tool. Turns out it was right where he put it. I've got a pretty good memory for where I put things, but that only applies to things I put away. His plumbing tool was on an upper shelf in the area I put painting items...we both know who put it there and it wasn't the person who can't reach the shelf

My partner likes to talk about getting organized but he doesn't do much about it. I'm the one telling him that I can't put things on shelves until the shelves get built. Unfortunately he hasn't yet caught on that he's going to have to come up with the time to do the work - either take a work day or donate a couple evenings or weekend days.

Linda, I always want to give your partner a good spanking, lol. He's a bit of a spoiled brat. Hahaha. I hope he realizes how lucky he is to have you alongside, he'd be lost without you. :)

How was your day everyone? I was busy busy busy today. Got a lot accomplished though, so that's good.

Paperwork and watching the driveway guys in action, they're a well oiled machine. Also, the laundry fairy visited again and left me some. Oh boy!! The excitement. :)

I'm a freelance designer. At least you had something to watch today, that's kind of exciting. Or at least interesting.

I'm really not complaining, our driveway was rutted and falling apart, it was an off-road adventure as we traversed it, it's an absolute pleasure to watch these guys smooth it all out. They did a lot of regrading, thank goodness. Here's a couple pics of the "excitement" :)

The driveway is probably over 40 years old and it wasn't done well even then. Now that all the major construction projects on property are done and we aren't expecting a bunch of construction vehicles, it was finally time. Hooray!!

Ahh. That's good, it will be a lot easier to clear in the winter also.
