We use B. Moore Aura for most projects. However, we used Moore Regal Aqua for many years and it performed very well.

Going with Aura for bedroom. It's a very rich deep blue grey. Should I do matte or eggshell?

I'd do a matte finish. Unless your walls are perfect, I'd stay away from eggshell - imperfections are more likely to show up.

I never had luck with the Aura paint, yes go with a matte finish..you will like it.

Not saying the aura paint is bad,,it was very different to apply,for me .I was not doing it right.

I used Aura in my living room, dining room, halls upstairs and down, and aura bath for 2 bathrooms. I think it's awesome and well worth the extra $$. Besides being low VOC, it goes on really well, coverage is great, my painter and contractor were both impressed by it. There is a difference. So, I recommend it wholeheartedly!

I just used Aura on a project and loved it while my dad, who helped, hated it. I found that if you just brushed it on it was great but if you over worked it and kept brushing then the surface left terrible brush marks.

If your asking me. I used matte on the walls and eggshell on the trim. I would use it again.

I think Sherwin Williams Emerald is a better paint than either BM products. All top line paints are worth the difference in the cost.
