My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Please tell what type of Danby marble this is. I googled "Danby Marble" and there appear to be many types. Thanks!

    Well, no matter which type you go with they will all be different depending on the veining. I believe this is Danby Imperial which we selected slabs with more softer gold and grey veins. You will have to be careful if you use this material, wiping up after acidic spills - lemon juice can cause havoc.

      Finished ceiling is 7' - 9 3/4" above the finished floor.

      Thank you so much! We are remodeling and we have 7'8" ceilings. Im trying to figure out if we should try to raise the ceiling if it is worth the expense. Do you have any input?

      Sounds like a lot of extra cost. So, it really depends on how much you can gain in height and how that will affect the proportions of the space as well as any existing windows and doors.
