Hi, thanks for your kind words. You nailed it, yes it is Stipa tenuissima next to Verbena homestead purple. Behind that Ballota pseudodictamnus ( available from Digging Dog nursery in Nor. Cal) and Santolina virens in the background. That's a yong Fuji apple between the Ballota and Santolina.
