Hello! Local stone from the area of the site. Upstate NY. We had the stone cut into thin pieces, and we also made the stonemason make mock ups for over a year before we went forward (in addition to the hearth, there are 2@ 65 foot long stone walls, which divide up the program; and there is a second hearth in another pavilion, to the east of the living room, which is also in its own, separate pavilion. You can see one of the 65-foot long walls passing, through the window, to the right.
