Please help with curtain fabric

I am really struggling with what to do with these windows. Want to rid the red and want the fireplace to be the center focal point. I have two huge curtains flanking the doors. Any suggestions for roman shade replacement colors? Thank you!

Usually the window treatments are based on a color theme already present in your room, but I don't see one in this pic. Can you post more - is it all neutral, or is there a sofa with colorful pillows, perhaps a rug... Comment and use the AI button below comment to post pix.

It's a large room. For Entertaining. Neutral colors.

Best thing I ever did was get Hunter Douglas Blinds. Lots to choose from and consultant (who is a interior designer by trade) came in and helped me pick out color (I wanted white but there were about 10 shades of white to choose from) and style. I would also get rid of that half curtain on the wall.

I see you have samples up already? Don't you like them? Otherwise, could you post close ups, so we can see?
I would get rid of the curtains too.
Another option could be something like rattan or bamboo Roman blinds.

Looking closer at your sample on the door I see it has a pattern on it. I think if you want your fireplace to be the focal point you should choose something with no pattern and neutral in color.

I'm not seeing much use for curtains here, or even shades for that matter. I am thinking that a rug in front of the fireplace and perhaps a few cozy chairs (if there is room). Perhaps one or the other should have some color as this room is looking kind of drab. Also, have you considered a mantle on that fireplace?

Closer picture of the fabric. I'm struggling with a pattern. Think I need to define paint color and then find a texture or some solid color.

I like that fabric. Nice and subdued pattern. Often easier to find fabric first and if you want to paint, match the paint to the fabric.

I love the greys and blues. Soft ad warm feel. This room is so large it's hard to make it warm and cozy. So pattern fabric or find a solid? Don't want to make it look too busy

I love this fabric. Actually found as an accent pillow to a sectional I would like to get. See below

In my opinion that pattern could work. Because it is not 'in your face', as far as I can see it has some of the colours or your fireplace in it, and I'm wondering if that little golden dot isn't perfect for your current wall colour?

The golden for also matches the large panels on either side. I was trying to find something that would still work with those.
