Bench relocated

Friends came over last night and rearranged my furniture. What do you think? Does the bench belong under the window. They moved the chair as well, but that is for another discussion.

The woods blend in so maybe a couple more cute bright pillows would help. Where was the bench originally?

It seems awfully close to the fireplace, but I like it in front of a window with the open back on the bench. Could it just move over to the other window by it? Plant switch places with the bench then, too?

I would flip it around and put it directly behind the sofa. Then people could sit on it and watch the fire.

Bench was in a bedroom against a wall. Now you can see what a nice piece it is- I never noticed the back. Someone suggested a long, narrow pillow for accent.

We don't use the fireplace at all.
