Hello All! My husband and I recently purchased our first home and are about to embark on our first BIG project of installing a master bath where there is currently none. Due to the federal shutdown, my husband was furloughed and we have had to make some serious changes to our budget as a result. I am now trying to reconcile my vision with my reality. My uncle is a plumber and will be helping us out with the plumbing but our budget is still pretty small for the scope of this project - $5,000.

We found our tile on auction - not what I had pictured but it was within our price point (pictured below). I would love some advice on how best to layout the bathroom (I provided pictures of the space below) and the best way to maximize our space. The space is 12'X6' with plumbing access from the hallway bathroom on the right-hand side wall (you will see a little door in the wall - that's the hallway bathroom plumbing access). The other big issue is the door to our walk-in closet is on the left and cuts into the bathroom space so we need to make some sort of angled entryway into the bathroom so that we can still access our closet. There is also a dormer in the one corner, making it difficult to put anything in the left hand corner of the bathroom.

Our Needs/Preferences:
We would like a shower that two people can fit comfortably in that incorporates the following:
1. A bench/seat
2. Nooks for shampoo bottles, etc.
3. Easy access for when I need to bathe our 82lb Boxer mix (and a fixture that is adjustable enough to work for bathing him).

I would also love some storage space as currently the only non-bedroom closet is in the hallway and is SUPER tiny (it's an old house). I would like to be able to store our towels (separate from guests), extra linens, excess toilet paper and paper towels (we are big costco shoppers!).
