This is beautiful. What media did you use for this?

Thank you for your interest and kind comment. This was taken with a 35mm Canon 30D digital SLR at a state fair then played around with in a photo program to make it look more like a watercolor painting. It is one of my personal favorite shots.

I really thought it was a painting until I did some research into it. Wow. Has it been edited in Photoshop? It really is beautiful. I am studying Interior Design and I am interested in possibly using the piece as an inspiration for a Carnival Concept in an apartment… It's not for a real client, but I think it would be a lovely idea! Thank you Sam. I appreciate it. It was not done in PhotoShop. Believe it or not, I am not a PhotoShop user. I am one of the few photographers around that do not use it. I try to capture the image "in-camera" as close as possible as to how I want it portayed. Any added effects, which this images does have, I do in a less fancy photogaphy program. I then play around with saturation, contrast, brightness, color corecting, etc on my own until it is the way I want it. I have a Facebook page, Photos by Jimi I, and a web site, www.Printroom.com/Pro/PhotosbyJimiI. There you will find hundreds of images in galleries like nature, modeling, etc. I hope you enjoy it.
