Mdf or wood paneling?

12 years ago
I am thinking of paneling a whole wall my entryway which is two stories and continue the wainscoting down a hallway. I am using a flat shaker style. I like the properties of mdf but am worried it may not look as good as wood. All will be painted white. Help?!?
