Yes. These are sch 40 copper pipes. They are very expensive, and require electrical bonding as all metals do, but they will be there forever. You have to be very concerned with the level of absorption in any material selection that will be in or around water. Water is the universal solvent and will destroy anything it can penetrate. Most of our scuppers are 316L stainless steel. It is much more expensive than lesser grades of stainless, but never use any lesser grade if you will have chlorine in the water. Pay attention to the nature of the elements you are working with, what they will be subjected to in your climate (sun, freezing, etc.) and you should be fine.
