My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    Is there a seam? i am being told by my fabricator that in order to get a mitered 3" edge there will be a seam. I don't see a seam on this island...

    When the miter is done well, the edge is almost imperceptible!

    Is the countertop raised and built up with plywood underneath the countertop so drawers will open? Or are the cabinets custom ordered?
