Not necessarily ! It depends on the floor plan and what colors you have in the bath. Just keep the tone of the blue towards grays. You don't want baby blue.

Hi. I would not go with blue carpet, perhaps a chocolate or something in a darker brown color. Also, if you like an accent wall color, I think a chocolate would be pretty behind your bed. Is your bathroom attached? If attached I would paint both the same color for cohesiveness.
