My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Beautiful home! Can you pease tell me what species and stain you used for the wood overhang / garage / wall? How do you get the variation in color from piece to piece? Thank you!

    Thank you for your comments! The wood is Genuine Honduran Mahogany. The finish is Sikkens Cetol SRD. The variation is inherent in the wood. Each piece will take the stain slightly differently, though you can darken the lighter boards to a point. Consideration was given to the placement of individual boards. Thank you.
