Not sure if I am answering this correctly.. but, depending on the temperature variation and especially in the humidity levels, painted wood cabinets can be an issue due to expansion and contraction which can lead to cracks in the finish.. Especially in the joinery of the doors, face frames, etc.. So I would explore the idea of a wood stained cabinet or perhaps a distressed finish that will only look better with time.. :)
Another option would be painted cabinetry built of MDF which is a very stable man-made fiber board that is used even in some of our own modern day cabinetmaking..

Does anyone own this Rohl sink ?We are thinking about purchasing it. I like the idea of 70/30 split so there is a very large space to wash & a smaller area to set things off to side.

I too would like to know specs on this sink
