Cannot tell from this picture. Is this your furn now? Will there be a TV? What look or style are you looking for. Need more infor to help.

I'm shopping for new everything, move in a year ago , the old sectional will not work in this room . I separated it trying to make it go but nothing works. Thinking of moving the T.V above the fireplace and taking out the bookcase I posted early on. 1st time posting can't figure out how to post more than one pic. Page down and u should find my earlier post of the book case . Hopefully u can tell more about the shape of the room from that pic. I love a mix of old and new. The most important thing is for it to be relax but still really nice we will be doing a lot of entertaining . I need to figure out how do add more seating . Any ideas will be really appreciated.

The rom is very dark and cluttered looking now. Painting whole room incl. ceiling will help. Any of the grays by Benjimin Moore would work. London Fog is nice, get sample cans put on yr wall. Can not tell from a paint chip. Do a soft gray not to dark do ceiling white,keep trim white. You have a very traditional look. I'm not a fan if built ins. Look too 1980s. Remove. Is this room use for TV.?if sow. I'll change furn arrangement. Window treatment for sure, I think just panels on ends, but hard to tell from this pic. Go a shade darker than walls. Are you going a more modern look.? What's on floor? Wood?

Cluttered maybe. Dark no, huge windows in the whole back of house over looking pool. I'm getting rid of all the old stuff u see in the pics, yes the floor is wood. Glad to hear someone agree with me about the bookcase . I'm taking it all out. The room 15x22 hoping to gain space about 3 ft when book case are gone. The main problem is the shape of the room. I'm placing the T.V. Over the fireplace it's the only place I can put it without having to worry about furniture placement . ,thanks for your in put.
